1. Acceptance and scope
These Terms and Conditions apply when you create an account, register for a workshop, purchase or access a course, use the BDN Academy website, use the Health Protector Android app, access videos, quizzes, certificates, AI tools, payment flows, WhatsApp groups, or related BDN services. By using a service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Nature of the platform
BDN Academy / Health Protector provides education, fitness, wellness, lifestyle learning, career-readiness, course access, progress tracking, quizzes, certificates, AI-assisted learning, and related communication. It is not a hospital, clinic, diagnostic or emergency service, pharmacy, university, government body, or government-certification authority.
3. Eligibility and minors
You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. The platform is not intended for children under 13. Users aged 13 to 17 may use it only with parent or guardian consent and supervision. Parents or guardians are responsible for a minor's account, payments, learning activity, health choices, and communications.
4. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate and current information where requested and keep your sign-in details secure. You may not share, sell, rent, transfer, or permit another person to use your account, course access, subscription, dashboard, or certificate. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
5. Course access and learning rules
Free and paid access may differ by course, subscription, offer, workshop, batch, campaign, or account status. Access is a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence for learning only. Unless a course page expressly says otherwise, it is not lifetime access. The platform may apply sequential unlocking, video-completion rules, quiz or final-exam rules, passing scores, certificate requirements, and other access conditions.
6. Payments, subscriptions, and manual verification
Paid access may be processed through PhonePe, manual QR payment, UTR submission, WhatsApp screenshot verification, or another supported method. Access is granted only after BDN's systems or team confirm payment success. A redirect, screenshot, UTR, pending status, or bank debit alone does not guarantee access. For manual verification, provide correct payer details, amount, UTR or transaction ID, and proof where requested. We may reject unclear, duplicate, mismatched, reversed, fraudulent, or unverifiable payment claims. Subscription access remains active only for the verified paid period; failed, pending, disputed, reversed, or expired payments may suspend access.
7. Refunds
Unless a specific course page, offer, or applicable law says otherwise, digital course fees are not refundable once access has been activated, content has been consumed, a quiz or final exam has been attempted, a certificate has been issued, or a subscription period has begun. We may consider refunds for duplicate payments, an unresolved BDN-caused access failure, an incorrect amount paid, a course cancellation by BDN, or where required by law. Submit the request promptly with payment proof through the support contact below. Approved refunds may take 7 to 10 business days, or longer where a bank or payment provider requires it.
8. Health, fitness, and wellness disclaimer
Fitness, wellness, nutrition, diet, supplement, BMI, body-composition, lifestyle, and coaching material is for education and general wellness support only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescription, or a substitute for a qualified doctor, dietitian, physiotherapist, mental-health professional, or emergency service. Consult a qualified professional before changing diet, supplements, medication, exercise, or lifestyle, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, under 18, elderly, injured, taking medication, or managing a medical condition.
9. No guaranteed results
BDN does not guarantee weight, fitness, health, income, employment, placement, interview, examination, certificate-recognition, or other outcomes. Results depend on personal effort, health, consistency, eligibility, market conditions, employer requirements, and factors outside BDN's control.
10. AI Tutor and app guidance
AI Tutor and App Guide responses are assistive learning and navigation tools. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, or delayed, and are not medical, legal, financial, career, or other professional advice. Use independent judgment, verify important information, and do not submit passwords, bank details, or unnecessary sensitive health information in an AI conversation.
11. Workshops, WhatsApp, and placement support
Workshop registration does not guarantee admission, a seat, recording access, a certificate, job opportunity, course access, or a future discount. Details may be sent through WhatsApp, phone, email, in-app notifications, or other available channels. WhatsApp groups and other external platforms are third-party spaces; do not share private financial or sensitive health information there. Any placement-related support or opportunity is not a guarantee of employment, income, interview calls, selection, offer letters, employer acceptance, or career outcome.
12. Certificates
Certificates are issued only when the platform's applicable requirements are satisfied, such as active enrolment, required progress, quiz or final-exam completion, and payment standing. BDN may correct or revoke a certificate for fraud, technical error, identity mismatch, chargeback, policy breach, or academic misconduct. A certificate is not a government licence, university degree, or professional medical credential unless expressly stated.
13. Your submissions
You may submit profile details, quiz answers, messages, support requests, payment proof, reviews, feedback, or other material. You confirm that your submissions are accurate, lawful, non-infringing, and do not violate another person's privacy. You allow BDN to use submissions only as needed to provide the service, respond to you, verify payments, maintain safety and security, meet legal obligations, and improve the platform.
14. Acceptable use
You must not hack, scrape, copy, screen-record, redistribute, resell, upload malware, abuse staff or users, impersonate another person, share login access, bypass paywalls or learning locks, manipulate payment, progress, certificates, or quizzes, collect other users' data, submit unlawful content, or use the platform for spam, fraud, harassment, defamation, hate, exploitation, or other illegal activity.
15. Intellectual property
Courses, videos, transcripts, quizzes, PDFs, certificates, designs, logos, software, prompts, AI workflows, dashboards, and other platform materials are owned by or licensed to BDN or its partners. Your learning licence does not permit copying, publishing, selling, training an AI system on, converting into another course, or commercially exploiting those materials without BDN's written permission.
16. Admins, instructors, and course creators
Administrators, owners, instructors, and tenants using course-builder, analytics, announcements, MCP, or AI-assisted drafting tools are responsible for the legality, accuracy, ownership, medical safety, and publishing approval of their content. AI-generated drafts must be reviewed before publication.
17. Privacy and communications
Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. You may receive account, payment, course, workshop, certificate, support, renewal, learning-reminder, or promotional communications by phone, WhatsApp, email, SMS, in-app notification, or another available channel. You may opt out of promotional messages where supported, but essential account, security, payment, and service messages may continue.
18. Third-party services
The services may use PhonePe, YouTube or other video services, WhatsApp, Meta Pixel, Google Sheets, OpenAI, Expo push delivery, PostHog, Sentry, email providers, hosting providers, and other suppliers. Their terms and privacy notices may apply. BDN is not responsible for a third party's outage, delay, account restriction, payment decision, or change to its service.
19. Availability, changes, suspension, and termination
We may update, suspend, remove, archive, replace, or modify courses, prices, offers, features, instructors, schedules, certificates, quizzes, AI tools, workshops, or platform access for operational, legal, security, quality, or business reasons. Services may be unavailable because of maintenance, technical failure, cyber incidents, third-party issues, or events outside our reasonable control. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, misuse the platform, submit false information, fail payment verification, create risk, violate law, harm another user, or threaten platform security.
20. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. BDN does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access, medical suitability, fitness for a particular purpose, guaranteed results, earning potential, placement, or complete accuracy of content or AI output. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BDN is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, health-related, income-related, employment-related, data-loss, business-loss, or third-party losses. BDN's total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid BDN for the relevant service in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability where applicable law does not permit a limitation.
21. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify BDN, its trustees, team, partners, instructors, officers, vendors, and affiliates against claims, losses, costs, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the services, breach of these Terms, unlawful submission, payment fraud, certificate misuse, intellectual-property infringement, or negligent or unsafe use of health, fitness, or nutrition information.
22. Governing law and complaints
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any non-waivable consumer rights, please first raise a dispute, complaint, legal notice, content issue, privacy request, payment issue, or account concern through the support contact below. If it cannot be resolved, courts of competent jurisdiction in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh will have jurisdiction. Nothing prevents either party from seeking urgent protective relief where permitted by law.
23. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when our services, policies, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the date above. If any term is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in effect. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, course-specific terms, refund terms, and written offer terms form the agreement for use of the services.
Account deletion
You can request permanent deletion of a learner account in the Android app or through our account deletion page. The process and retention of limited payment records are explained in the Privacy Policy.
